Starting Lineup Overview

Marty Houston and Scott Faldon host “The Starting Lineup” weekday mornings from 7 to 8 AM, bringing listeners the first sports talk and news of the day, often with strongly opposing viewpoints.

Marty Houston brings three decades of broadcasting experience to the table. He is well known in Arkansas Razorback circles as host of the noon hour "Huddle” on KPBI-TV and KFDF-AM radio for 11 years. He is currently the station manager for KFTA Fox 24 TV and still handles play-by-play duties for Van Buren Pointer football and Fort Smith Northside basketball. Marty is married with two kids and believes the Dallas Cowboys are the greatest franchise in NFL history.

Scott Faldon has been covering the River Valley sports beat since 1996. During his tenure at the Southwest Times Record, he's served as an outdoors writer, sports reporter, feature columnist and---as of 2004---sports editor. He's won several awards for his writing and proudly voted as a Heisman Trophy elector for several years as well. Scott previously worked at The Sports Hog on a morning show with Ernie Witt Jr. He is happily married, but tortures his wife with his undying love of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
